Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Friends of the Whispering Pines School:

I am honored to have been selected to re-join the Greater New York Conference, which is
known for its dedication to excellence, but more importantly, to Christian education. Over
the past 16 years, I have worked as a teacher and assisted in administration from grades K
to 12, but I consider my most important job to be that of a child advocate. I will encourage
them every day and let them know they are valued and have a special place in our Christian
school community.

Not only am I excited to begin working with your children, but also I look forward to the
work we will do together. As the old African Proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a
child.” I am excited to see your children through your eyes.

As we embrace the challenges of the future let us continue to cherish and celebrate the
successes of the past.  Our remarkable staff, involved parents and committed students come
together to make Whispering Pines SDA School a wonderful and unique place.

Once again, I am so thankful to have the opportunity to bring all that I have experienced and
learned with me to your wonderful community. I look forward to getting to know you and
your children. Please stop by to say hello as I do have an open door policy. Let’s work
together to make this an excellent school year in every way! I look forward to meeting you

In His Service,

Maurice Grant
